Shakram is a unique and vibrant Irish contemporary dance company with a commitment to presenting cutting edge, collaborative and innovative work. They have an eclectic history working with live music, interactive sound, film, theatre and site-specific performances. Shakram's work is informed by ethnic styles in music and dance - particularly Indian classical forms - presenting the nuance and richness of the human condition. Shakram have staged over ten productions and have toured nationally and internationally. Performances include the International Dance Festival, Dublin Fringe Festival and Ilios Contemporary Arts Festival, Norway.
